We all enjoy our experience in the bathroom – it is an oasis from the grind of everyday life where we can cut ourselves off from the world, relax and pamper ourselves. In thinking about a new bathroom to cater for lifestyle changes, these elements are as important to the design as overcoming any physical challenges.

At Aquaneed, we believe that an effective design requires a thorough understanding both of these sets of needs and we combine a caring approach to the client wishes along with the professional advice of the healthcare professionals.

Every solution will depend on individual circumstances, whether it be an adaptation to the existing bathroom, a complete refurbishment, or the construction of a new facility in an existing or new space. In each case, Aquaneed can help you design and implement any size of project, from the simplest adaptation to a comprehensive new-build project.

Using our CAD software package, we will be able to show you in 3-D plan exactly what the finished project will look like for you to consider before committing to the works and satisfy yourself that all of your needs will be met.

Over Bath Shower

This is a simple solution if you require a shower facility in a confined space and can use the normal bath. We can install a thermostatic shower over your existing bath and provide suitable screens and curtains to protect your bathroom area.

Bath Lifts and Walk in Baths

For those who find it difficult to get in and out of the bath, we can provide stylish equipment to help with this challenge. Similarly, we can replace your existing bath with a side access model to provide easier access.

Level Access shower trays

For many clients, the replacement of the existing bath with a level access shower provides a convenient solution where accessing the bath has become difficult. These installations can be protected by foldaway screens and/or curtains and give a good feeling of extra space in the bathroom.

Wet Floor Bathrooms

For an even greater feeling of space, Aquaneed can remove the existing bath and form the floor into a graded bathing area, with suitable screening for privacy.

Cubicles

In this scheme, we can provide a complete washing facility in another room of the house, say a large bedroom or bedsit, This scheme combines a shower area, wash basin and toilet in a convenient installation that can be closed away by a pair of wardrobe-like doors when not in use.

Whichever option you choose, Aquaneed can provide stylish and sturdy support rails and seating for those who need help in accessing the bathroom facilities.
